Accounts Assistant

Here at AIS, we’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Department.

You will support the Senior Finance Assistant with the administration across all functions within the Finance Department, Suppliers and Members. This will include processing invoices and reconciling accounts.

Excellent customer service lies at the heart of this role. You’ll be the first point of contact for our Members and Supplier enquiries, responding promptly and professionally. Building strong relationships, communicating clearly and resolving issues efficiently are key elements of this role. We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Finance Assistant to drive high levels of engagement across the Finance function and its systems.
  • Support the Senior Finance Assistant by providing administration for new financial support services that AIS can provide centrally to benefit our members.  
  • Work with all merchandise areas across the business to support them with member and supplier relationships.
  • Process Cenpac supplier documents and deliver quality customer support.
  • Prepare supplier payment runs and member direct debit collections.
  • Undertake credit control duties to ensure all monies are collected from members.
  • Identify and resolve the root cause issues with supplier and member documents to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Develop relationships with members and suppliers to ensure any queries or issues are dealt with in a proactive manner and changes in circumstances are reported as quickly as possible.
  • Onboard and offboard both members and suppliers to Cenpac ensuring the correct process is followed by the AIS team.
  • Ensure Finance policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Undertake any other duties as may, from time to time, be required by the Company.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a finance role, dealing with transactional level documents and queries.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications.
